I recently stayed at the hostel in Ocean Beach for a week-long vacation in San Diego. The hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was exceptional, the breakfast offered a fresh and satisfying variety of options, and the presentation was beautiful. The rooms were immaculate and cozy, with modern interior design and top-notch wood flooring throughout. I was impressed by the organization of the hostel, with lockers, phone charging plugs, privacy walls, and individual lights for each bed. It truly is the best hostel I have ever experienced, and I highly recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere was peaceful, positive, and relaxing, and there were yoga classes and engaging activities available. I also appreciated the on-site surfboard and bike rentals. an absolutely fabulous experience for guests of all ages and nationalities. Thank you so much!

The breakfast was basic but satisfying, with bagels, oatmeal, fruit, and coffee available. The hostel's convenient outlets for charging devices and privacy panels in the bunk beds were great features. the location of the hostel was perfect, with easy access to the beach, coffee shops, supermarkets, and even a hair salon.

The check-in process was slow and frustrating, making me consider finding another place to stay. The cleanliness of the bathrooms left much to be desired, and one guest in my room had no consideration for hostel etiquette, being loud and messy late at night.

What an amazing stay at this hostel! It was incredibly clean and well-organized, with lots of nice amenities like a hammock and free towels. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offered great activities like sunset cliff walks and beach yoga. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops, supermarkets, and public transportation. Plus, the breakfast on the patio and the water filling station were such convenient features. Can't ask for more!

We were impressed by the caring nature of the staff. When bonfire night got cancelled due to rain, instead of simply canceling the event, they went above and beyond by offering everyone free beer and organizing a different event. It truly felt like we were part of a little family. Cassidy, one of the staff members, lent my friend her bike so that we could go on a short ride together. It was such a thoughtful gesture and added to the overall positive experience. the hostel itself was also impressive, with brand new and clean facilities. the beds were comfortable, complete with privacy shields and shelves with outlets for plugs and USBs. the breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of options including fruit, oatmeal, bagels, and juice. the 24-hour desk and constant security checks made us feel safe at all times. the location right on the beach was the cherry on top. it was an amazing stay and we would highly recommend it. Cons: Can't think of anything 🤔.

This hotel was a great find! The value for money was exceptional, with affordable prices for a hotel so close to the beach. The location was perfect, right on a hip street just steps away from the beach in the funky neighborhood of Ocean Beach. It was so convenient to have everything I needed within walking distance, from restaurants and shops to the stunning sunset cliffs. The breakfast included was a nice bonus and set me up for a day of exploring.

I stayed at a fantastic hostel called Usa Hostels Ocean Beach for 2 nights during my solo travel adventure in California. It was the best hostel I have ever stayed at! The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the beach and with a bus stop nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast was delicious with bagels, fruit, and orange juice. The hostel offered a range of fun and free activities like a shuttle, pub crawl, beer pong, BBQ, and bonfire at the beach. The hostel had great facilities including a sparkling clean kitchen, drinking water fountain, and a back patio to hang out. I got to meet so many new people and had a wonderful time.

Clean rooms, plenty of bathrooms, and even private ones. Great location near the beach, airport, and transit center. Helpful staff with directions and tips. Good shops, bars, and supermarket nearby. Security checks and cooking facilities are a plus.

I had the most incredible time at the hostel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the Farmer's market on Wednesdays. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, especially the women's bathroom which was a nice touch. Having a kitchen in the hostel allowed me to save money by cooking my own meals. I had a fantastic experience at Samesun Ocean Beach and would highly recommend it.
